CREATE welcomes announcement of Queensland Principle Commissioner, Luke Twyford

CREATE Foundation welcomes the news of the recent appointment of Luke Twyford in the role of Principal Commissioner of the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC).

“Luke brings such a significant depth of understanding and experience in strengthening the child protection sector,” shared Ms Jacqui Reed, CREATE Foundation’s Chief Executive.

“Luke is a passionate advocate for children and young people in the Northern Territory and working towards the reform we, as a sector, are collectively striving for. Luke also interacts positively with children and young people, listening to and in turn, acting on what they say.”

“On behalf of CREATE foundation and the young people in our community, we are delighted to hear the news of Luke’s appointment and welcome his leadership in the child protection sector.  We all look forward to closely working with Luke and his team.”
