QFCC Art Competition

CREATE Foundation and Queensland Family & Child Commission invite you to be part of our Art Competition and Showcase. 

Celebrating the creativity of Queensland Children and young people with a care experience (up to 25 years old).

What kind of artwork?

Any kind! Drawing, painting, clay, photography, digital art, video and more – you are limited only by your imagination!

Where will my artwork be shown?

Your artwork will be shown at Art Showcases throughout the year. The next Art Showcase is in Cairns at PCYC Edmonton on 14 April and you will all be invited to view yours and other works. Artwork may also be featured on social media, and you may even see your artworks on QFCC reports and brochures in the future!

Can I enter more than once?

You can enter up to three times.*

How to enter

Create some art relating to the theme and send us a picture of your artwork via the form below, or email us at qldart@create.org.au

Entries close 10 April 2026.

Terms and Conditions:
  • In entering, you are consenting for your artwork to be used publicly by CREATE and QFCC (for example: Facebook posts, CREATE Magazines, Christmas Cards, Posters etc.).
  • You must have an out-of-home care experience in Queensland to enter the art competitions and be eligible for voucher payments and prizes.
  • Each entry to the art competition receives a $20 voucher – to finalise your entry, you just need to send in your artwork!
  • There is a limit of 3 entries every round.
  • Artwork will be shared via a voting system and winners will be selected via this system – winners receive a prize!
