Have Your Say in CREATE’s National Survey 2017

This is your opportunity to be part of something BIG! CREATE’s National Survey 2017 is well under way with exciting things happening around the country. This is a chance for children and young people across Australia aged 8-25 to get their voice heard on their care experience including topics under the eight essential domains;

Accomodation

Peter from Queensland preparing letters to be sent to State Departments

Health

Education

Employment

Identity

Culture

Relationships

Life Skills and Independence

Letters will be sent to randomly selected children and young people with a care experience around Australia to invite them to be a part of the great survey.

So far, letters have been sent to under 18’s in Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Northern Territory, and Tasmania. Letters have also been delivered to departments in New South Wales and Western Australia, who will be sending them out directly to young people. South Australia is finalising last details, with letters due for mailing in the coming weeks.

With almost 7,000 invitation letters sent so far, this makes the survey potentially the largest ever undertaken anywhere in the world seeking the voices of children and young people with an out-of-home care experience

If you do receive a letter for CREATE’s National Survey 2017, remember this is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and to make a real difference! PLUS there are awesome prizes up for grabs, including a number of $100 vouchers in each State and Territory AND you can go into the draw for a major prize of an iPad mini, just for completing the survey!
